Individual counselling in Vancouver, BC.

One-on-one therapy in Kitsilano and online across BC, for anxiety, self-esteem, relationship stress and the patterns that keep coming back.

You might recognize this.

You understand your patterns better than most people. You've read the books and could explain exactly why you react the way you do. And still, in the moment, the same thing happens.

Or maybe it's harder to name. A low hum of anxiety that never fully switches off. Relationships that start well and end the same way. A sense that you're managing your life rather than living it.

Insight is a good start, but it usually isn't enough on its own. Therapy is where you get to practise something different, with someone alongside you.

What we help with.

  • Anxiety and overwhelm. Worry that loops, a body that can't settle, burnout.

  • Low self-esteem. A harsh inner critic, people-pleasing, perfectionism. [More on self-esteem therapy]

  • High sensitivity. Feeling things deeply and getting overloaded easily. [More on HSP therapy]

  • Relationship stress. With a partner, family, friends or at work, including patterns you notice across relationships.

  • Life transitions. A move, a breakup, a new role, becoming a parent. [More on perinatal support]

How we work.

Sessions combine talk therapy with approaches that work through the body and through the different parts of you that pull in different directions. You'll understand where a pattern comes from, and you'll also practise responding differently while it's happening.

Our counsellors draw on somatic therapy, Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and mindfulness, depending on what fits you.
